Abstract

The research investigated two Lahu villages in Tambon Mae Chedi, Wiang Pa Pao district, Chiang Rai province: Huay Nam Rin and Huay Pong. From examining the participation and problems of the villagers, it was found that Huay Pong villagers lacked production factors (insufficient fertilzers, pesticides and seeds), encountered low prices of farm produce, and did not have much farming knowledge. The problems of Huay Nam Rin villagers included a lack of land ownership and production factors (insufficient fertilzers, pesticides and seeds)
