Abstract |
This work focused on the processes of knowledge creation on Khmer art history and archeology in Thailand from the 19th century until today through the knowledge transference of French academicians. The knowledge was related to details of Khmer arts that had spread into Thailand. However, Western knowledge had also been assimilated into Thai culture, changes and adaptation of Thai in creating the nation-state system by means of historical memes in each period, resulting in the present unique Thai culture.
