Abstract |
This work was concerned with implementation of folk wisdom to promote natal care and easy delivery of pregnant Muslim women in the lower South. The practices included pre-natal care with professional nurses and midwives, eating food made from medicinal herbs and vegetables, and practicing Islamic principles as well as local beliefs that had been passed down from generation to generation.
