Abstract |
The research aims at studying Textile pattern of Tai Lue community in Silalang Sub-District, Pua District, Nan Province. Their livings originated with farming and weaver for themselves. Tai Lue women have to prepare their textile for their relatives before wedding. Then the people in Silalang sub-district gather for working and exchanging their textile knowledge and also thedistribution. Moreover, the research found the history of Tai Lue who had lived originally in Sipsong Panna and then they migrated to Nan province because of war among Nan Kingdom, Sipsong Panna and other kingdoms. Tai Lue also has their own uniqueness in their beliefs, culture, language and textile.
