Abstract |
Some of the Black Tai residents in the village still lead a traditional lifestyle, be it agricultural production systems to meet their basic needs, such as rice, or weaving or housing construction styles. Weaving is an important identity of the ethnic group. Cultural tourism was initiated from within the group and from the collective cooperation of all community members, resulting in sustainable tourism development. The project has been beneficial to the community in socio-economic terms and cultural preservation, maintenance and revitalization, and their culture can be transmitted to younger generations. This can be seen from more people of working age turning to traditional weaving rather than working in factories. The ethnic culture has been cultivated in young children via formal and non-formal education.
