Abstract |
The article discusses the majority northern Thai people and other minority ethnic groups in Nan Province, which include Lue, Thin, Khamu, Hmong, Mien, and Mlabri. The author describes their livelihoods, beliefs, culture, traditions, societies, and historical backgrounds of each group. Furthermore, the general context of the province are also presented, with an aim that concerned agencies might improve their livelihoods, with development plans that could be in line with socio-cultural changes.
