Abstract |
The research investigates the history of migration, settlements, politics, and relationships of the Lue ethnic group with local Thai residents. The investigation also focuses on the Lue lifestyles, their culture and traditions, occupations, livelihood, and the weir system of water rationing. Their animistic rituals and beliefs, e.g., City Spirit, Village Spirit, and ancestor spirits, profoundly affect their socio-cultural behavior.
