Abstract |
The book focuses on tales, and the oral literature of the Khmu ethnic group that reflects their beliefs, inspiration and lifestyle. Most tales are surrealistic with clever and witty heroes who are able to survive difficulties. Despite being poor, these heroes were usually helped by supernatural power.
