Abstract |
The thesis compares the land use of the Black Lahu with that of Thai villagers in Fang District, Chiang Mai Province. It is found that the land use of both groups is affected by socio-economic factors. The factors affecting the land use of Lahu villagers include land size, household members, and income in the agricultural sector. The factor affecting the land use of Thai villagers are income and expenditure in the agricultural sector, numbers of farm laborers, and the overall number of laborers.
