Abstract |
Phraya Samantaratburin was royally appointed a Malay interpreter in the Ministry of Interior stationed in the Patani Region in 1916. He was later appointed governor of Satun Province and was in the position for 18 years. During his tenure, he initiated several development projects for the well being of local residents. He was also a well-rounded individual with vision. His actions and advice in the fields of education and public health should be implemented for the young.
