Abstract |
In the past, the Nia-kuol ethnic group led a nomadic life in Dong Rek Mountains in the northeastern region. They settled permanently in Pak Thongchai and Krathok Districts about 60 years ago. At present, the group numbers about 600. They cultivate rice, corn and tobacco as well as raise some livestock.
