Abstract |
Nowadays, there are many changes among Lahu society such as prostitution and seduction whichwere formerly caused from education or temptation to-be-prostitute.There are another reasons that women don’t have a gender role for facing outwards andunprepared for social construction of gender; Lahu society is completely changed their gender roles. For examples, the womendon’t need to do the housework, however; they can earn for a living outside and live with other people. These aren’t the norm in Lahu society because the women may be tempted easily. Moreover, the Lahu ethic for gender role is different in which the women are forced to live outside their hometown and are incompatible outwards. It causes of their failure in life such as they get married with other ethnic group even they are not ready for that while the men can get married with whoever they want and come back to their hometown as usual.
