Abstract |
The work investigates death-related rituals and ceremonies of the Tai Yo ethnic group at Saeng Badarn Village of Kalasin Province. Textual and field data were collected and the findings are compared with the rituals of the Isan Lao. It is found that most rituals are generally similar and that they are related to Buddhism and super natural power. However, some beliefs and rituals are different.
