This research examined the transmission of weaving culture of the Black Tai ethnic group from the past to the present. The process involved an exchange of knowledge and experience between the transmitters and the transmitted. Those involved in the process included parents and relatives transmitting to their children until they were able to produce their ethnic dress to wear in community rituals.
