Abstract |
The work investigates the leaders and power structure by comparing two Muslim communities: Dato and Krue Seh. The leadership and plurality theories are used to analyze the data to find out who has the decision-making power in the communities, how many levels there are in the administrative structure and how they are related. It is concluded that in the Krue Seh community, which is a developed one, community leaders are the officially appointed leaders. For the Dato Community, which is a developing one, the community leaders are religious leaders.
