Abstract |
Khun Muang, or Northern Thai, is an aggregate of a number of ethnic groups who have intermixed a diversity of belief systems, customs, culture, and they inhabit the Lanna area. It is not possible to specify their exact origins. Some scholars have argued that the name Khon Muang is a response to the ethnic imposition of either the Burmese or the Thai.
