Abstract |
It is found from the study that there are three factors contributing to the maintenance of the Black Tai ethnic weaving culture. The first is their animistic belief which requires traditional clothing in the rituals. The second is that some Black Tai women are aware of the value in preserving their weaving culture. The third is tourism promotion, which motivates the ethnic group to revitalize their weaving activities.
