Abstract |
The Yao ethnic group has its own lifestyle, culture, customs, taboos, and practices, which are related to their animistic beliefs. Their traditions are relevant to their livelihood, making their socio-cultural aspects different from other ethnic groups. These aspects include eating and drinking customs, home visits, partner selection, home building, birth, adoption, naming, addressing, child rearing, occupation, healthcare, administration, funerals, animistic beliefs, and dreams.
