Abstract |
This work chronicles the history, society, culture, traditions, and practices of the Akha ethnic group at Saen Charoen Village in northern Thailand from oral records of the village headman, Akha women’s leaders, story tellers (Phi-ma), and conductors of rituals. The author tried his best to record exactly what had been told. Remarks: This work is a draft of the work by Dr.Leo A. Van Geusau given to a center’s researcher. The center considers the work important and it should be publicized on the center’s database.
