The book investigates 10 villages in three districts of Lampang Province, where the Kiw Lom Irrigation Project was constructed. The focus is on the impacts of the project on the villages as well as demographic and social aspects of the locals, their beliefs, and economic system. Over 80% of the population agreed with the construction, though they were talking about ensuing problems. The author also provides recommendations to solve future problems.
