Abstract |
Weaving is a part of Karen culture, no matter how dressing styles have been changing nowadays. The weaving designs of Karen textiles in the area under investigation are mostly similar. There are two types. The first type is a plain design, which is used for girls’ dresses. The second one is with more designs, which are used for adults’ clothes and utensils. Weaving styles for the two types are not the same in terms of designs, color and size.
