Abstract |
The lifestyle and livelihood of the Mon are related to their beliefs and religion, which are reflected in their customs, traditions, language, literature, arts and handicrafts, and traditional plays. However, cultural interaction with the mainstream culture has changed their culture and lifestyle. To raise cultural consciousness among the young Mon generation in conjunction with preservation activities would help maintain their ethnic culture.
