Abstract |
The study focuses on cultural phenomena of Vietnamese Thai residents in Tha Bo District, concerning their migration into Thailand, cultural adjustment, livelihood, and interactions with other ethnic groups. More importantly, it is concerned with the God Ong To and related rituals that are believed to bring prosperity to the families. The rituals have influences on beliefs, kinship system, education, economy, communication, and the reduction of social stress of the residents.
