Abstract |
The thesis investigates the acculturation between the Mongwol Chong Dai ritual of Khmer Thais and the Soul Soothing Ritual of Lao Thais at Dom Village, Sangkhla District of Surin Province, due to their social formation as well as similar lifestyles and beliefs. The purpose of the two rituals is to boost morale in their daily lives.
