Abstract |
This article describes the physical surroundings and daily life of the Kha at Ban Huai San, Chiang Rai province. The village gate is a ritual gate and their houses have a high space underneath. Most of their daily life is spent with cultivation and their main crop is rye, but they do not grow opium poppies. This village was chosen to participate in the government’s highland development projects.
