Abstract |
The researcher focuses on the social adaptation of Thai-Muslim students in the Educational Certificate class and Higher Educational Certificate class in Yala Teacher College. It has also been found that the background of their families such as their fathers’ occupation, the educational level of their fathers and their religious background have differently affected the level of adaptation of Thai-Muslim students. The aspects of adaptation are the adaptation of using the Thai language, their associations with Thai-Buddhist students, their adaptation to living among Thai-Buddhist people, their adaptation of associating with teachers and their adaptation to having meals with Thai-Buddhist students.
