A study of words used in the process of Thai Phuan traditional weaving is to study the words used in 2 villages: Thai Phuan in Pa Dang village, Phichit province and Thai Phuan in Ban Had Siew, Sukhothai province. The Thai Phuan in Pa Dang village is a group of Thai Phuan that migrated from Amphoe, Ban Mi, Lopburi province. Their traditional weaving is silk weaving such as Sam Kasat Matmi, whole piece Matmi and Matmi Bieng. The Thai Phuan in Ban Had Siew, Sukhothai province is a group of Thai Phuan who have lived in Amphoe Si Satchanalai for about 150 years. Their weaving style is traditional ancient weaving called Sin-Teenjok.
