Abstract |
The original traditional media of the Lisu is about the communication and transferring of information about daily life in a traditional style inherited from their ancestors. The contents are about methods and forms of communication about beliefs, agriculture and health and sanitation. The means of communication are people who have power, traditional stories, music and Lisu songs. The general communication is verbal excepting, the music and songs. The traditional rituals are the main element of interpersonal communication and inter groups communication The Lisu still communicate in the original traditional style in their daily lives. If there are newly developed media with suitable methods and forms complying with their traditional media, it would be useful for development at the village level
