Abstract |
The communication process is an important process that causes the social and cultural changes of the hilltribes. It is an interaction between the urban culture, personal media, mass media, radios, televisions and printed media, with the traditional culture. This causes the traditional culture of the hilltribes to be changed and to lead to a lack of integration between the urban culture and the traditional culture. In the meantime, they do not completely deny and adopt all urban culture, but they adopt and apply this culture to suit their traditional values and social conditions. There are some aspects of culture influenced by urban culture such as the administrative system; there is a leader of the village instead of the traditional “He Kho”.
