Abstract |
Natal care behavior of the Akha is considered to be folk wisdom handed down from generation to generation. Despite it being non-scientific, the goal of the behavior is understandable and comparable. This is an important point to develop a holistic approach suitable to the locality by taking into consideration the local cultural dimension in conjunction with the scientific dimension, so that a suitable approach is derived, which may shorten the time in learning about health care, particularly a self-sufficient one.
