Abstract |
The factors affecting the participation in village development of the Red Lahu at Pong Jok Village include higher age, better economic status, being community leaders, better use of the Lanna dialect, being Buddhists, and having an opportunity to see outstanding development activities in other villages. The villagers collectively develop their village and help solve the drug and health problems of members in the hope that they might receive assistance from the government.
