Abstract |
The research focuses on how Karen lifestyles have been changed from the past. External changes include permanent houses with tile roofs and electricity in their villages. Rice production is more for domestic consumption than for sale. They acquire supplementary incomes by being laborers. More villagers are in debt, indicating that there are more expenses in everyday life.
