Abstract |
The author investigates internal and external factors that cause social changes due to the hilltribe relocation project. These factors affect the quality of life and environment of the villagers after they were relocated to the village. The villagers have encountered many problems, such as a lack of fertile arable land due to excess gravel. Consequently, they become daily wage earners to support their families. Both internal and external factors have had an adverse impact on the lives of these hilltribe people (pp. 50-58, 62-68).
