Abstract |
The important factor influencing whether the Akha accept change is their attitude. This includes their mentality, taboos, beliefs, and common practices. Other factors are community environment, social order, economic system, religion, and rituals. These important and sensitive factors determine their acceptance of changes or new things. It is noted that the ethnic group will accept new things when they are worth their endeavor, not time-consuming, and not in conflict with their culture.
