Abstract |
The report focuses on the Lisu settlement at Tung Ku Village, Phrao District, Chiang Mai Province. The community settled there over 20 years ago after being nomadic. It is found that their livelihood is substandard and poverty is persistent, so they have to survive on agriculture by encroaching on a forest reserve area.
