Abstract |
Religious beliefs greatly influence human beings socially. Therefore, democratic countries provide equal religious rights to all their citizens. Development should not be detrimental to social beliefs and traditions. It should be adjusted to suit particular social needs. Furthermore, existing beliefs, traditions, attitudes, and values should be used as a determining factor for social development (p. 105)
