Abstract |
The research covers many topics regarding Hmong people including background and history of Hmong people in Ban Mae Sa Mai, Mae Rim district, Chiang Mai, how people adjust to living in the conservation area, cultural capital, symbolic power and identity creation in the context of power politics in natural resource management. The research method focuses on the understanding the new image and self-identity of Hmong and their processes of building identity based on their cultural capital.
