This book was written from experiences of the author while working with Bang Kloy villagers. The data were collected from interviews, focus group discussions, meetings, photographs, models, drawings, and house construction record. The villagers were involved throughout the working process.
These instruments and methods were a bridge connecting theories and practices. The data were thoroughly analyzed to showcase the relationship between the environment, culture, activities, and the area use in an attempt to determine changes and adaptation of the ethnic residences. Attending workshops was crucial for creating collective power and learning processes.
