Abstract |
This article is about the perceptions of rape in Hmong society through solutions of conflicts with the customary law. The writer concludes the Hmong customary law can solve the raping problems with prevention policy-socialization and with building up relationship between assailants and victims in order to be accepted in the society. This is a marriage, but if there is not this relationship, the victims will be paid with compensation and the assailants will be punished and social resisted or sometimes deported which is banishing from the social participation in the meantime, it also support a norm and value to prevent the faux pas.
