Abstract |
Lau Yea Rai, Tai Sai Na, is a catchword of the elders reflecting way of life of the people in Lanna in the past and peacefully living together between Lau and Tai. The main of occupation of these two groups is rice cultivation integrating the indigenous belief and religion together. The way of life of Lanna people cannot be separated from the belief depending on the nature, from the production process to the harvest and rice utilization as well as respecting and realizing the use of animals. Both the Lau and the Tai have similar rice cultivation process, but it is different in details of the belief integrated. However, the traditional rice cultivation of the Tai is going to be disappeared because of the replacement of the technology.
