Abstract |
When Karen in the lowland has more influenced by the outside society, there is a change of condition of isolated tribal society. Every family has ever maintain the significant ritual such as Oxe which is the family cults, but now some family or some household has practiced a ritual of Chakasai or Che Che, in Karen language in order to be independent from the belief of family cults and abandon the relationship with the family cults or some brings Buddha image shrine into the house which shows the influence of Buddhism.
