Abstract |
A model of traditional medical treatment of Akha is related to the cause of the illness, the way of treatment, the cause of the illness which is from the supernatural and the balance of the body. The model of the treatment is a relation between witch doctor and patients in order to accept the idea of the treatment. However, at the present, the people differently understand the cause of the illness because of the perception of new information, so the people has changed the way of traditional treatment to be the modern one and related to the socio-economic changes in the communities.
