Abstract |
The implementation of the policies of the regime was stricter than the previous civil government. They were based on internal security and foreign policies of the country to be allied with the United States in order to resist communism. These factors obliged the regime to implement stricter policies on the refugees. The policies negatively affected the morale of the Vietnamese in general and forced the refugees to protest against the implementation of the policies.
