Abstract |
The research focused on the lifestyle of the Black Tai ethnic group at Tambon Ban Don, Uthong District, Suphanburi Province, in terms of daily life activities, behavior, and culture. It was found that the ethnic group still maintained their extended family lifestyle and most of them were engaged in farming. Their society was neighborly, helping one another and collectively organizing annual festivals. Such collective cooperation had created harmony and unity in their society. Culturally, they had still maintained their traditions, such as Sen Ruan ritual, house warming, funerals, traditional dress, and conventional hairdo among women. The ethnic group has their own written and spoken language.
