Abstract

The Tai Phuan in Amphoe Pak Plee, Nakorn Nayok province are Buddhist and they have their own traditions, rituals and cultural identity such as “Su Kwan”, “Phuk Siew”, “ Ngan Huan Dee’, and courtship. Some traditions of the Tai Phuan which still exist nowadays are merit making on many occasions such as “Kathin” and performances such as Khon and movies. However, some traditions have been abolished but exist in Tai Phuan literature such as a ritual of “Yu Kam”, courtship, “Long Khuang”, “Su Kwan Kwai” and a ritual of “Hae Nang Maew”. Further more, this research deals with metal training-cognitive learning and the students in kindergarten year 1 and year 2 by using local stories to be a media for mental training-cognitive learning and the score of mental training-cognitive learning before the experiment is different. In addition, this research also notes the pronunciation of standard Thai practice for the students in Prathomsuksa 1 to 3.
