Abstract |
This investigation examined folk wisdom management methods of the Yo ethnic group in five villages by the Khok Samran Tambon Administration, Lerng Noktha District, Yasothon Province. It was revealed that the organization had operational plans for public participation and allocated a budget for cultural maintenance and conservation activities. A cultural council was established to seek cooperation from all parties in conserving the folk wisdom. To maintain and transmit the wisdom, folk scholars were selected to train young people to maintain and conserve their culture. Dissemination of the wisdom was done through community leaders and a cultural database was established. Furthermore, videos about the history of the Yo communities and their folk wisdom were disseminated via the internet.
