Abstract |
From the study, it is found that there are many factors affecting the adoption of new highland agricultural practices by the Hmong such as (the extension personnel farm visiting who is the highest influence, and their neighbour respectively.) For other factors that show a significant difference are the information received by radio and newspaper, extension personnel farm visiting. Social factors that show the relation to the adoption of farm practices which is significantly different is the number of people in the household. And other factors include age, educational level and occupation are not significantly different. Economic factors that show the relation to the adoption of farm practices which are significantly different are the capital investment of the farmer and other factors that are not significantly different includes land tenure and annual income of the hilltribe.
