Abstract |
The article covers problems and political situations from the past, showing Muslim movements for obtaining political freedom by establishing their own educational system as a means to express their identity and to reject integration. The work also draws attention to relationship problems between Muslims and Buddhists, problem-solving guidelines and moves by both the Thai government and Muslim leaders to find the best solutions in order to avoid political violence in the region.
