The investigation covered three areas to develop the Tai Ya community at Nam Bor Khao Village to become a cultural attraction. The main areas covered were attraction, access and facilities. It was found that the community had unique resources for cultural tourism, namely reed cultivation, making reed mats and their ethnic lifestyle. The ethnic group were Protestants who regularly organized religious celebrations, such as Christmas and Easter, which enhanced the tourism potential of the community. To gain access to the village was also convenient. As for the facilities, the community had basic facilities, such as electricity and water. Nevertheless, there were no public toilets, telephones, accommodation, souvenir shops, restaurants, and no tourist information center. These facilities required cooperation from the community and the state.
