Abstract |
The language and culture of the Nhakur ethnic group in northeastern Thailand are disappearing due to the rapid expansion of new technology, communications, education, transportation and socio-economic development. There are not many Nhakur left nowadays, but they are proud of their linguistic and cultural identities and also make attempts to preserve them.
